VOLUNTEERING AT CONFLUX
As a festival volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to assist national and international artists; work directly with local exhibition venues; and acquire hands-on production experience.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Conflux is the annual NYC festival for contemporary psychogeography where international artists, technologists, urban adventurers and the public put investigations of everyday urban life into practice on the streets. At Conflux, the city becomes a playground, a nomadic laboratory and a space for the development of creative communities.
VOLUNTEER DATES
- September 6–16: preparation and installation
- September 17–21: festival dates
- September 22–26: de-installation and post-production
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum eight hour commitment
- Mandatory meeting TBA
- You must have a working mobile phone during Conflux
- You should be reliable and friendly, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- You must be able to cover any daily costs, such as transportation and meals, although we will feed you whenever possible
