How do I find out what's happening at Conflux?
Check the online schedule for specific events you want to attend, or just show up at our headquarters at McCaig-Welles Gallery where you'll find artists presenting their work in the HQ lounge all day. There you can pick up the printed schedule and project maps and flyers. If you have questions, just ask one of our volunteers.

How far is Williamsburg from Manhattan?
Williamsburg, Brooklyn is separated from Manhattan by the East River. They are connected by the Williamsburg Bridge, as well as the L & J/M/Z trains. You can get from Williamsburg to the East Village in Manhattan with a short ten-minute train ride, or a slightly longer bike ride (15-30 min.) or walk (30-45 min.) over the Williamsburg bridge. Most cab drivers are familiar with Williamsburg.
Is everything within walking distance of the HQ?
Most events are located in or around McCaig-Welles Gallery. There are a few off-site events, please refer to the schedule page for more information.
Will you provide bicycle transportation?
We can't provide bicycles, but if you have one bring it along to participate in bike events. Here are some links to rental information:
Will you provide food or will there be vendors?
There are no food vendors at Conflux, but we are providing bagels and coffee each day and we encourage you to come to the HQ in the morning. We will also provide a list of affordable restaurants in the area at the Conflux HQ so that you can always find a place to eat.
Who attends Conflux?
Artists, writers, psychogeographers, technologists, architects, urban planners, students, academics and people who have an interest in urban spaces and looking at them in a new way.
Are there evening activities?
Yes. There will be evening activities planned for each night.

Do I have to register for Conflux?
Nope—no need to register. However, you can sign up to receive SMS updates about events.
Is there a gallery exhibition this year?
McCaig Welles Gallery, our headquarters, will present an exhibition of new work by artist R. Nick Kuszyk during the weekend of Conflux.
What are the hours of Conflux?
The HQ will be open 10am–7pm every day. Evening events will be held at other neighborhood venues. Check the schedule for more information and locations.
Will there be internet access at Conflux HQ?
Yes, we'll set up wi-fi.
